No Embellishments KCRR

Good morning! I was able to get out on the lake for a few hours last night, it was such a calm, peaceful evening... just the perfect way to wrap up a less-than-great workday! Here's a pic of the sun setting over the lake:

Well, it's Thursday, so that means a new KCRR challenge! I also wanted to play along with Mojo Monday and the Color Throwdown:

The selections for KCRR this week were: no embellishments, just paper (eek!!) and the stamp set Patterned Occasions. These, combined with the above, turned into this! A cute little hello card:

*lol* I smile every time I see it! The lively colours and the cute little elephant are perfect to send to a friend for a quick note. The cloudy day embossing folder is a great compliment to the tempting turquoise strip.

Overall, while I really REALLY wanted to add pearls to this, the no embellishments turned out to be not that hard *lol* Before I wrap it up, I just wanted to do a quick shout-out for my unconventional wedding card that was selected as a "top pick" over at Stampin' Royalty!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop over to Charissa's blog, Snippets by Design, to see what she created with the KCRR elements! :)

Supplies used:
Stamps: Patterned Occasions, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Regal Rose (retiring soon!), Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey, Whisper White, Summer Smooched (also retiring soon!)
Ink: Basic Grey
