With ingredients like this, how could this turn out badly?? *lol* plus, it is red velvet, my personal favourite!! :) I really hope it turns out, as making a cheese cake is a huge time investment! Between shopping for the ingredients, mixing everything up, and cooking it, it takes a whole afternoon! None-the-less, I am really looking forward to enjoying a piece tomorrow. Anyways... 24 minutes... onto the challenges! As you know, it is a new Inspired By... and I wanted to plat along with the Friday Mashup as well:
- Create a project using "the sketch".
- Create a "set of cards".
- Or Mash it Up and create a "set of cards using the sketch".
I picked the photo this week, a pretty "cherry" outfit:
I took from this, the cherries!! It made me think of ice-cream, and the cherry on top :) And I definitely wanted to "mash up" the Friday Mashup. Here's how my card set turned out:
I like it :) It would be perfect for little girl's birthdays :) I used the cherry stamp from button buddies, stamped the image twice (once in real red and once in lucky limeade) and snipped out the cherries so I could pop them up on dimensionals.
Well, that's all for today, 10 minutes to spare! Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over to Charissa's blog, Snippets by Design, to see how this photo inspired her :)
Supplies used:
Stamps: Button Buddies, Create a Cupcake
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White, Sweet Shop Specialty DSP (ret)
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Real Red, Early Espresso
Accessories: Linen Thread, Dimensionals
I can't believe you jumped into the lake in BC! I wouldn't have done that in NY. Adorable cards... and so yummy!! Hope your cheesecake turned out delicious too! Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
