Inspired By... Funky Shoes!

Hello there and happy Friday!! I had a great kick-off to the weekend, a box of Stampin' Up! goodies on note, here's hoping that the weather forecasters are wrong about this weekend and we get sunshine :) *fingers crossed* I want to have a very productive crafting night tonight and hit the wilderness tomorrow for a night of camping! (We will see how things turn out *lol*) Well, onto today's challenge, a new Inspired by...! I used the most recent sketch from The Sweet Stop, even though I am too late to play along:

Well, isn't that just darling? I think any kid would be happy to get this! And it is rather convenient to have a gender neutral birthday card in the collection :)

KCRR #16 & Retro Sketches

Good morning! Here's a super quick post before I get on the road for my long drive today. It's Friday, so that means a new KCRR challenge and I wanted to play along with Retro Sketches as well:

The combination randomly selected for this week's KCRR were: patio party, honeycomb embossing folder, and a third option, A Fitting Occasion. Wow! What a great combination! Here's how everything came together:

I love it! It's a perfect little girl's birthday card! I wanted the elements in the honeycomb to be random, I think I accomplished that *lol* I am glad to finally ink up this set, it has been sitting on my shelf for a long time!
