Hello! Thank you for visiting my brand new blog :) I am a first-time blogger and a fairly new paper crafter, but I am thrilled to have a place to post pictures of cards and projects that won't drive my FaceBook friends crazy!
A little bit about me: I live in Prince George, British Columbia (not a place you'd like to visit this time of the year at a chilly -22 degrees this morning). I began paper crafting in October 2011 when my coworker invited me to a Stampin' Up! class. I loved it and signed up to be a demonstrator the following month. Since then, I have truly fallen for the art of paper crafting. Crafting has always been a part of my life. Ever since I was a child, the only thing my mom would request from my siblings and I for her birthday & mother's day was a hand-made card. She still has the cards we created back then! I must admit, I was never a big fan of making the cards, as arts & crafts were not my forte when I was younger. So it came as kind of a shock to me that I enjoyed crafting with Stampin' Up! supplies so much. Needless to say, I am very thankful that my coworker (& friend) introduced me :)
Over the last year, my collection of stamps, paper and supplies has... how can I put this delicately... become enormous! I have supplies from a variety of places, mostly Stampin' Up! and Michael's Stores, and I am slowly making the shift to have all Stampin' Up! products. My collection of supplies has taken over the dining room of our house, and I often refer to it as the crafting room instead of the dining room. Last year, I think the only times the dining room table was clear was for Thanksgiving and Christmas (lol) but no one really seems to mind.
I have two fur baby helpers that really enjoy crafting with me. They keep the craft room exciting... and me constantly looking under the couches for arrant supplies :)
Thanks again for looking!
PS - first card post coming later today! :)
Congrats on starting your blog! Looks awesome! So excited I will have yet another thing to share with you :) Looking forward to an inspirational and crafty 2013!
